Established in 2012, GOGLA now represents over 120 members as a neutral, independent, not-for-profit industry association. Its mission is to help its members build sustainable markets, delivering quality, affordable products and services to as many households, businesses and communities as possible across the developing world. Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP)


The Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP) is a multi-donor programme that supports the development of markets for renewable energy. By focusing on renewable energy investments, RECP promotes access to energy, climate mitigation and economic growth.  

The RECP connects African and European Developers and Investors by providing critical information on African energy markets, identifying concrete project opportunities through on-the-ground scouting activities, matchmaking between project developers, technology suppliers, and service providers as well as facilitation of access to finance.
